All Medical examiners were required to meet the new DOT Exam Guidelines by May 21, 2014. The current Guidelines require that a Medical Examiner take a course and pass a test approved by the Department of Transportation. This ensures that all providers meet the same standards and understand all elements of the DOT Medical Exam, thus preventing a driver from being restricted or disqualified by one provider and passed by another.
Dr. Wallwork has taken the necessary course and exam and is a Certified Medical Examiner.
